The CO2 laser marking machine uses CO2 gas to fill the discharge tube as the medium for generating laser. When a high voltage is applied to the electrode, a glow discharge is generated in the discharge tube, causing the gas molecules to release laser light. Then the laser beam optical path is changed by computer-controlled galvanometer to achieve automatic marking.

This machine is designed for clients who want to mark big size nonmetal like wood, acrylic, paper, leather, Jeans... is stable and reliable, and has 24 hours continuous working ability. It is suitable for continuous production of large quantities, varieties and high precision machining environment.

Both of them use the same glass laser tube, the gas release wavelength of 10.64um laser, Co2 laser engraving machine uses mechanical XY axis and laser head, focus distance is short , so it could be used for deep engraving and cutting, but speed slow .
